Fears in LIFE
For as long as we are alive, we will feel fear - it is an intrinsic part of our world. However, fear is an illusion of the mind - and fears such as fear of failing, fear of success, fear of loneliness, fear of the unknown, fear of mistakes and fear of flying are the exact things that cripple some of us from living life to its fullest.
And that's it. Fear in life can be our BIGGEST enemy. Because when you resist fear or push it aside, you miss a powerful opportunity for healing and freedom. At the same token - it can be our BIGGEST ally...is just dependent on how we use it. If we embrace our fears and befriend them, they will become our biggest allies but if we fight them and allow them to control us - they will forever hold us back.
Mark Twain once said, "I have been through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened." Think for just a second about all of the time you've spent fearful and worrying. Looking back, you might see that much of what you fearfully anticipated turned out fine. Precious moments in life - moments that could have been full of love, creativity, and presence - were taken over by habitual fear.
Now, at the end of it all, there is a very small chance that we will stop fear from showing up in our daily lives, because since we are only human, it is quite likely that we will have some kind of fear. However, if we can reach inside and find a way to befriend that fear, it will eventually go away and we will be amazed that it wasn’t really worth it.
Look at fear as a mechanism to challenge you. Embrace what you fear, hit it head on, and discover something you have never lived before. Cause if you learn how to get past the fear, you can become successful and experience the joy and relief of relinquishing that fear.
So instead of letting fear control your success - find the confidence to embrace it, befriend it, find the confidence, take the risks, and allow yourself to experience the world that you FEAR.
