Ask anyone what they want, what they would like for themselves and their life and I can guarantee almost everyone would have an answer. The problem is a lot of us know what we aspire to, whether it's a successful career, family, weight loss, but the point is not many of us have it. We can see what we want, but we can't quite get there. What are we missing?
They say knowing is half the battle, but I disagree. I think the work to get there (wherever there is for you) is the hardest and most unforgiving part of the process. If someone offered you everything that you needed to get what you wanted in life, would you refuse it? Would you say that you had to think about it? Or that maybe you would wait until the New Year to get started, because this month was just too hectic? I'm going to say probably not, because that sounds ridiculous, but we do it all the time.
How many times have you heard someone talk about how they would just like to get in shape. How that's all they want, just to be healthy and fit. If that's truly what they wanted (and I don't doubt that it is) then why aren't they doing anything and what are they waiting for? Because the thing is, everyone has everything they need to get what they want. The only thing that's holding us back is effort. You need to not just want it, you need to work for it and effort, that's between you and you. If you're not putting in the effort today for what you want tomorrow, the only person who can help you fix that, is you.
